SPL Beatty, a division of SPL Consultants Limited (SPL), has a highly qualified and dedicated team of professionals able to address all aspects of a projects' environmental requirements. The SPL team has extensive experience in geo-environmental engineering and assessments. Several of the SPL professionals are "qualified persons" as defined by the Ministry of the Environment under O. Reg. 153/04 as amended by O. Reg. 511/09.

Services provided by the team include Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments, Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments, soil and groundwater remediation, monitoring during the removal of underground tanks, Risk Assessments and preparation of Record of Site Conditions.


SPL is highly qualified to complete designated substances surveys, asbestos and mould surveys and abatement monitoring. SPL has extensive experience in the completion and execution of asbestos management plans and annual updates of existing plans. Environmental support services that SPL can provide during construction activities include dust monitoring, soil and groundwater management and contract administration.
